Mark Denton

I cut my teeth on vehicles in the transport office of a Steel Forge in Sheffield in the 1960’s with vehicles like a Leyland Comet and Albion Chieftain.

Spent time in Australia in the early 1970’s in the northern territories working with JCB and Caterpillar earth moving equipment

On returning to England in the late 1970’s, started work at a refractory company in Sheffield where we ran mainly Volvo F88 and F10’s.

I rose from transport and production Director to Managing Director before leaving the company in the 1980’s to start my own business.

My company a vehicle consultancy registered for VAT in January 1988 and is still running to day after more than twenty years

 

 

Married with two Daughters and now a new Grandson Brendan

 

 

Malcolm Dungworth

Worked in transport and logistics all my working life

Fellow of the Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport

Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry 

Now retired but can’t remember how I found the time to work. 

Married to Maureen for 42 years.

Lived in the Hope Valley for the majority of the last 47 years

Lived in Bamford for the past 38 years 

Past President of the Rotary Club of the Hope Valley

Past Chairman Bamford and District History Group

One Daughter

My main interests apart from my work are Fly Fishing for wild Brown Trout, Travel (with my Wife) and Motor Sport.

Malcolm and I have known each other for more years than we care to remember!

Since Malcolm took early retirement as Fleet Director of a large insulation company in Sheffield, we have worked together on a number of Transport Projects.
